Business Applications Are Now Open!

We have established The Black Futures Fund as part of our ongoing commitment to our community. This fund was created to help eliminate the administrative barriers prospective minority business owners face when starting a business*. This fund is also designed to help current business owners and employers get help creating policies and procedures that prevent systemic discrimination at the employment level.  

Eligibility requirements:

• Age 18+ or has a parent or legal guardian as representation
• Belong to an underrepresented or historically disadvantaged minority group
• Not a current business owner OR are a current business owner and are seeking assistance for an additional business that is not a subsidiary or partially owned by the existing entity.
• Looking to start a business within 3 months from date of application
• You Intend to operate a business, for a legal purpose, under the statutes and regulations of your state and any applicable regulatory entities.
• Are not a recipient of funds or services from any other entity, federal or private, that are intended to assist you or any business partners in relation to the entity listed in this application with registration of a business entity. 

* To serve as many as possible, registration assistance is based on the national average of $132.00 per registration. Actual amounts depend on the applicant's stated state or territory of registration.
